Voice-guided procedures
Case study 04
Put the procedure where the work happens.
The problem
Field procedures often rely on written instructions that are difficult to consult while working. At the same time, the operational record still needs to capture what was done and what happened along the way.
Knowledge can remain concentrated in experienced technicians, while documentation is left until later.
What we're building
Coanda has developed a voice-led approach to capturing expert knowledge and turning it into approved procedures.
An experienced technician narrates how a job is performed. The procedure can then be reviewed and approved, ready for another technician to follow through a voice interface.
The workflow is designed to capture the record of the job as the work happens, rather than relying entirely on a separate write-up afterwards.
For instruction safety, approved step text is read from stored procedure content rather than freely rewritten by a language model.
Why it matters
The approach is designed to reduce the friction between executing a job, accessing expertise and creating the administrative record.
This is Coanda product development, not a claim of a completed customer deployment.
